I haven't forgotten about this thread, just letting the system get through a few good rounds of backups. The faster storage disks and 10GbE have made an enormous difference so far. I've found some Bacula users indicating InnoDB can be useful for the data set sizes I'm dealing with, but I'd also agree it may not be worth the effort. I do have my old server still running so I could always try it there first.
